Howard's Beginners Training Group

Howard, a fully accredited Level 2 UK Athletics Performance Coach and Endurance coach (Event Group), delivers training courses for beginner runners or those returning to running after a break. 

Every summer he offers a free 6 week course on Thursday evenings from 7pm till 8pm at Pixham Lane sports ground. Suitable for people from complete beginners to those doing 5k parkrun and also for anyone returning to running.

Each week of the course is a self contained block where you will not only run but learn running technique.  We all stay together in one place where we train on the field.  You can go at your own pace and no one is left behind.  It is a great way to get fit and make new friends!

Missed the course? Howard's regular coached sessions during the winter months are still suitable for beginners and we also offer group runs suitable for all levels.
